Applies force to clutch hub to turn compressor	• Allows technician to rotate a compressor by hand, as specified in the compressor manufacturer’s installation instructions • Reduces potential for compressor damage due to poor lubrication or other conditions at engine start-up • Rotates compressor in same manner as normal clutch operation • Provides a preview of compressor operation, may assist in identifying a problem prior to installation completion • Protects compressor warranty by making it easy to follow the manufacturer’s installation requirements
